Fertiliser producer invests OMR2.2mn in Sohar Freezone

Muscat: Sohar Freezone has signed a land lease agreement with Integrated Solutions Plant and Land Services (FZC) for 15,000 sqm within the freezone to establish a liquid fertiliser plant.

The project represents an investment of OMR 2.2 million and it includes the potential for future expansion which would see the plant produce ammonium sulphate to strengthen Oman’s export sector, especially in Pakistan and Tanzania.
