The forum aims to showcase projects slated for bidding or tendering in 2024, prioritising equal opportunities, transparency and the dissemination of essential project data and information.

It targets local companies registered with the Tender Board, expecting participation of approximately 300 companies across various sectors and classification categories.

The forum agenda includes deliberations on diverse topics and projects, challenges faced by companies, and pertinent details associated with new projects.

Abdullah bin Humaid al Habsi, Head of Project Follow-up Office at the Secretariat General of Tender Board, underlined the forum’s significance in fostering transparency and encouraging competition among local companies of all sizes. He emphasised the support extended to small and medium sized enterprises to seize opportunities presented by projects scheduled for the year.

Habsi also elaborated on how the forum will offer opportunities for competitive pricing, ultimately contributing to feasibility and expediting project completion with precision.

Additionally, he highlighted the forum’s role in affording participating companies ample time to prepare for projects, increasing their understanding of project requirements and available resources.
