His Majesty Sultan Haitham issues two Royal decrees

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued two Royal Decrees - No 88/2023 and No 89/2023 - on Wednesday.Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued two Royal Decrees on Wednesday reading as follows:

Royal Decree No 88/2023 ratifies an agreement establishing the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector, signed in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on November 3, 1999.Article 1 ratifies the aforementioned agreement in accordance with the version attached to this decree.Article 2 states that the departments concerned will deposit the document ratifying the aforementioned agreement in accordance with its provisions.Article 3 states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.

Royal Decree No 89/2023 ratifies an agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Russian Federation on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of tax evasion with respect to taxes on income, signed in Muscat on June 8, 2023, and the protocol attached to the agreement.Article 1 ratifies the aforementioned agreement and the protocol attached to it in accordance with the version attached to this decree.Article 2 states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and enforced
