“Khedmah” provides support to the Ministry of Social Development for people with disabilities

Muscat: Committed to its social responsibility program, Oman Investment and Finance Company “Khedmah”, has remained steadfast in its endeavours to support the Ministry of Social Development through various initiatives that add value to the lives of individuals. Acknowledging the need for high-quality services in the field of rehabilitation and adequate monitoring devices to measure vital indicators for people with critical health issues, Khedmah recently extended financial support to the Ministry to provide a range of rehabilitation services as well as other medical and assistive devices for people with disabilities.

In line with the nation’s broader goals, the Directorate General of People with Disabilities Affairs seeks to partner with private sector companies, civil society institutions, and individuals who share similar values that are geared at enriching the lives of people with disabilities. As a community-centric organisation that upholds principles of inclusivity and equality, Khedmah has taken various concerted efforts to assist the Directorate in fulfilling its objectives.
