MoSD launches lab to develop services for persons with disabilities   

MoSD launched a laboratory for the development of services and programmes for persons with disabilities on WednesdayMuscat – A laboratory for the development of services and programmes for persons with disabilities kicked off on Wednesday to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The lab’s theme focuses on the need of unity in action to achieve Sustainable Development Goals for persons with disabilities. 

The lab’s launch event was held under the patronage of Sheikh Al Fadhl Mohammed al Harthy, Secretary General of Council of Ministers.

The event has been organised by the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD) in cooperation with Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labour, private sector establishments, civil society institutions and personnel and organisations working in fields related to persons with disabilities. 

The lab, which will continue till the end of December, aims to align services and programmes for persons with disabilities with Oman Vision 2040. MoSD launches lab to develop services for persons with disabilities
