Oman Tender Board Awards Projects Worth $655.2mn In 2021 – MEP MiddleEast

The Oman Tender Board has awarded projects worth $655.2mn (OMR252.5mn) in 2021, down 35.6% year-on-year compared to $1bn (OMR392.2mn) in 2020.

In 2021, the tender board focused on ensuring the implementation of a number of infrastructure projects embarked on by the government. Many development tenders were awarded in vital sectors such as airports and transportation.

In the airports sector, the tender board assigned a project in 2021 for the implementation of electromechanical works and associated MEP equipment related to the development of the Muscat International Airport, as well as the facilities of the cargo buildings and the hangar.
