Oman to mark Environment Day | Times of Oman

The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Environment Authority, will celebrate the Omani Environment Day today. The event falls on January 8 every year. Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Al Amri, Chairman of the Environment Authority, said: "The Sultanate of Oman has got many environmental achievements as a result of the programmes and initiatives that the Authority has worked on, relying on continuous planning and development with methodologies that enhance the quality of environmental work and ensure its sustainability."
