Badr al Essai, who led the project’s supervising committee, said, “Construction work commenced in February 2022. The dam is at a height of 5m and is 12m long.”

Constructed with stones and cement concrete, the dam adheres to strict technical and engineering standards of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources. Built between two mountains, it incorporates two water discharge outlets.
