Qatari-Saudi co-ordination meeting regarding Abu Samra, Salwa border crossings
A Qatari-Saudi co-ordination meeting was held in Doha regarding the work plan for the project to facilitate traveller procedures and exchange and audit data between the land ports of Abu Samra of Qatar and Salwa of Saudi Arabia.Director General of Passports Maj. Gen. Mohamed Ahmed al-Ateeq al-Dosari headed the Qatari side at the meeting, while Director General of Passports Lt. Gen. Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz al-Yahya headed the Saudi side.During the meeting, Maj. Gen. al-Dosari pointed out the importance of the co-ordination meetings to enhance the efforts made regarding data exchange to facilitate procedures for the movement of travellers between the two fraternal countries.The meeting comes in the implementation of the work plan for the project which was signed on Dec 25, 2023.
