Al Yamamah Steel Inks Supply Contract For Electricity Projects – MEP MiddleEast
Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul)-listed Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co has signed two contracts worth $78mn (SAR292mn) with Hyundai Engineering and Construction Company to supply steel towers for electricity transmission projects on the KSA-Egypt border.
The first contract includes the supply of steel towers for the construction of a 380kV electricity transmission line between the new Afif BSP and Mahd BSP.
The second contract includes the supply of steel towers for the construction of a 500kV electricity transmission line as part of Phase 3 of an interconnection project between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt in the western region.
