Hassan Allam Signs the Contract for KAUST Coral Restoration Initiative

In a significant step towards environmental conservation, Hassan Allam Construction Saudi has officially signed the construction works contract for the KAUST Coral Restoration Initiative, the world’s largest coral reef restoration efforts in partnership with NEOM, located at Haddah Beach in NEOM, Saudi Arabia.

The signing took place in the presence of : Mohamed El Dahshoury, Hassan Allam Construction CEO; Tony Chan, KAUST President; Campbell OBE ,VP,NTI; Mohamed El Aasar, Managing Director of Hassan Allam Construction Saudi; Mark Gillan, Associate VP, Technologies and Special Projects; Sameh Helal, CHRO at Hassan Allam Holding; Amr Atiah, MBA, SFP ,Director, Special Projects.

Scope of work includes the construction of the primary coral nursery and external/infrastructure works, with a total built-up area of 24,720 m². This initiative is a response to the global coral reef situation, aiming to proactively address the coral bleaching caused by climate change and rising seawater temperatures.
