KSA Business: Voltas lands MEP contract for major Saudi water theme park – Gulf Digital News

Voltas, a premier air conditioning and engineering solutions provider and a projects specialist headquartered in India, said its international operations business group has clinched a major entertainment project worth SR428 million ($114 million) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for Qiddiya Water Theme Park.

As per the deal, Voltas will be responsible for installation and provision of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) services for the park.

Qiddiya is a public investment fund project that aims to become the capital of entertainment, sports and arts in Saudi Arabia with a one-of-a-kind disruptive destination offering innovative, immersive, and unparalleled experiences.

An ambitious project for the kingdom, it is likely to be completed by October 1, 2024.

It comes as part of Qiddiya’s objectives to establish Saudi Arabia as a global tourism destination and support its Vision 2030 in elevating tourism as a major contributor to economic diversification and creating a world-class destination.
