‎National Development Fund approves HADAF’s new strategy

The board of directors of the National Development Fund (NDF) has approved the new strategy of the Saudi Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF), which came in response to the changes and challenges of the labor market and the need to improve its efficiency.

This also came line with and will contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

HADAF's Director General Turki Al-Jawini said the new strategy will support the development of national human capital, employment sustainability and motivation of the private sector to contribute to Saudization, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

It also reflected the efforts of the relevant authorities to support the training, qualification, employment and empowerment of national cadres, while boosting their competitiveness and efficiency in the labor market. It is set to contribute to the development of their knowledge and professional skills and capabilities, he added.

It will bolster the harmonization of specializations with market needs and the changes that occur in it, bridging the skills gap and productivity of the national workforce. In parallel, the efficiency and contribution of national cadres to work in private-sector establishments will increase, the official stated.
