Saudi Arabia approves unified eVisa for GCC residents.

RIYADH, Dec 7: Saudi Arabia has given the green light to a consolidated electronic tourist visa designed for residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. This eVisa, with a one-year validity, facilitates multiple entries, enabling visitors to stay in the Kingdom for up to 90 days.

The decision received approval on Wednesday, and Saudi Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb expressed gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for endorsing the eVisa service. The move follows the Supreme Council of the GCC’s announcement, made after a meeting in Doha on Tuesday, expressing support for the efforts of the Committee of Interior Ministers in implementing the eVisa.
