SDRPY launches development projects worth more than SR1.2 billion in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT — The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) launched a comprehensive package of 20 projects and vital development programs in Hadramout. The SDRPY projects were launched under the patronage of the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council in Yemen President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi. It was initiated in the presence of the Assistant Supervisor General of the SDRPY Eng. Hassan Al-Attas and Governor Mabkhout Mubarak Bin Madi of Hadramout Governorate, These projects, valued at over SR1.2 billion, were provided by the Kingdom under the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman. The launch ceremony included the laying of the foundation stone for several projects, such as the establishment and equipping of a university hospital and cancer center at Hadramout University. This project aims to provide advanced healthcare to citizens and create a suitable environment for training health practitioners at the university, while also supporting scientific research and development. Additionally, the SDRPY launched projects to establish a gas separation and treatment plant, as well as a power plant in Seiyun to increase the power station's production capacity to 100 megawatts. Other projects unveiled during the ceremony
