#SheBuilders: ROSHN’s Ghada Alrumayan sheds light on PIF’s Private Sector Forum

Earlier this year, Saudi Arabia held the second Private Sector Forum in Riyadh. The event’s mission is to bolster collaboration between the Public Investment Fund (PIF), its portfolio entities, and the private sector.

Emphasising the pivotal role of the private sector in achieving Vision 2030’s goals for a prosperous economy, the forum aims to increase its contribution to the GDP to 65% by 2030. It spotlighted over $25.6 billion (SAR 96 billion) in private investments in PIF projects since 2021 and the establishment of more than 100 partnerships with Saudi companies, building on the successes of initiatives launched at the previous forum.

PIF-backed ROSHN Group, Saudi Arabia’s national real estate developer, is spearheading the charge towards realising the kingdom’s ambitious vision and is at the forefront of crafting sustainable, inclusive, and innovative urban landscapes. The company is pioneering a strategic collaboration with the private sector, underpinned by a multifaceted framework to enhance local supply chains, promote sustainability, and foster innovation to achieve socio-economic objectives.

Against the backdrop of these ambitious national initiatives, Construction Week Middle East sits down with ROSHN’s Group Chief Marketing Officer, Ghada Alrumayan, who serves as a focal point to understand the practical application of these high-level strategies within ROSHN.
