Dubai-based real estate crowdfunding platform eyes Saudi market after $3 million funding round – Arabian Business

Dubai-based real estate crowdfunding platform, SmartCrowd, has closed a bridge round in excess of $3 million after witnessing a 100 percent growth in its investor base on a quarter-on-quarter basis.

SmartCrowd, which allows individual investors to take a “fractional” share in a rental property, has grown its investor base nearly 6x since the pandemic.

The latest bridge funding will enable the rapidly growing company to scale its operations and products, and establish a presence in new markets including Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
