LED Lights On Khorfakkan Road Project Lowers Energy Use By 50% – MEP MiddleEast
The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has inaugurated Phase 1 of the Khorfakkan West Ring Road, a development project linking Maliha Road to the Sheikh Khalifa Street and the E99 Road, coinciding with the UAE’s Golden Jubilee.
The ministry utilised a novel technique for recycling drilling materials on the project. As a result, 85% of materials used throughout the project’s phases were recycled.
In addition, LED lights were used on the Khorfakkan West Ring Road, which resulted in the reduction of energy consumption by up to 50%.
