UAE’s Select Group picks CSCEC ME to develop 1st phase of waterfront project

Select Group, a Dubai-based global real estate developer, has selected China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCEC ME) as the contractor for the first phase of the latest waterfront project, Peninsula, ideally located in the heart of Business Bay.

CSCEC ME, the Middle East’s largest and most established international contractor, has been providing comprehensive construction solutions in the region for over 16 years and has made a significant contribution to the region’s economic development. Its firm dedication to its key values of quality, safety, and reliability stood as the reasons which made Select Group to pick them.

The company’s strong project delivery track record in the UAE supports a portfolio that includes some of the region’s most iconic and urban structures. With an estimated contract worth of $171.2 million, phase one work of the eagerly anticipated mega-waterfront project is expected to begin this month and is expected to be completed in Q4 2024.

The Peninsula waterfront development’s first phase consists of three separate residential developments, including high-rise towers and low-rise waterfront villas, all of which are skillfully blended into the first community-focused residential master plan in Business Bay.
