Dubai Investments unveils 1st flagship mixed-use development in Africa



Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Investments has entered the African markets with its first flagship mixed-use development the Dubai Investments Park (DIP) Angola, according to a press release.

Designed in line with the listed firm's criteria, the scheme covers a 2,000-hectare integrated mixed-use residential, commercial, and industrial hub in Angola.

The project aims to become a tourism and industrial hub to boost sustainable development aligned with the Angola Ministry of Environment (MINAMB).

Meanwhile, Dubai Investments will develop the infrastructure and lease land to developers and investors.

Khalid bin Kalban, Vice Chairman and CEO of Dubai Investments, noted: “This strategic step reaffirms the group's unwavering belief in Africa's promising economic terrain, aiming to catalyze sustainable growth and progress across the continent.”

“DIP Angola presents a prime prospect for investors seeking diversification and business expansion within a burgeoning economy that holds immense potential for large-scale industries, providing direct pathways to extensive markets across the broader African landscape,” the official added.

In the first nine months (9M) of 2023, the UAE-based company logged net profits attributable to the owners valued at AED 817.01 million, compared to AED 1.48 billion in 9M-22.
