Mikati meets UAE President on sidelines of “International Conference on Development and Migration” in Italy, receives central bank vice governors, French Ambassador at Grand Serail

NNA - Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, met with UAE Presidentnbsp;Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the sidelines of the ldquo;International Conference on Development and Migrationrdquo; held yesterday in Italy.

Discussions reportedly touched on the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them.

On the other hand, Caretaker Premier Mikati met this morning at the Grand Serail with the vice governors of the central bank -- Wassim Mansouri, Bachir Yakzan, Salim Chahine and Alexandre Mouradian.

The meeting took place in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Saadeh Chami and Caretaker Finance Minister Dr. Youssef Khalil.

Premier Mikati also met at the Grand Serail with French Ambassador to Lebanon, Anne Grillo, who said on emerging that she paid Mikati a farewell visit, during which they held a tour drsquo;horizon ldquo;onnbsp;the past three years, and the French-Lebanese cooperation.rdquo;

ldquo;We also discussed the situation in Lebanon on the eve of the visit of the French envoy, Jean-Yves Le Drian,rdquo; Ambassador Grillo said, describing the meeting as constructive.
