Dubai’s Global Village has announced new timings, offerings and special activities for the holy month. Majlis of the World is back at Global Village and will enable guests to enjoy Ramadan traditions in a unique setting. Guests can order Iftar, Suhoor or other delicacies from any of the more than 250 dining options around the park. A mix of Ramadan-themed performances will include oud, qanun, harp and cello players, a traditional Tannoura dancer, and a magician to entertain guests visiting the majlis. Families and friends can also rent board and card games. Bookings can be made online through the website or app starting from March 20. With over 3,500 shopping outlets, visitors can shop to their heart’s content for home accessories at the Egypt, Turkey and Al Sana’a pavilions, which will be selling a selection of collections and one-off pieces. Dates and sweets can be found at the Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Oman pavilions. The UAE, Yemen, Pakistan, Kuwait, and Bahrain pavilions will be the places to go for anyone looking for spices and condiments.
