Stunning masterplan for Hudayriyat Island revealed; pristine beaches, 360-degree views of Abu Dhabi

UAE - Ever wondered what the massive construction underway in Hudayriyat Island is, which extends to as far as you can look while on the bridge? Well, a majestic master plan for the island on an eye-popping 51 million square metres, equivalent to 53.8 per cent of Abu Dhabi Island, has been finally revealed.

Developed by Modon Properties, the exquisite project will feature high-end residential communities with panoramic 360-degree views of Abu Dhabi city and the waterfront, from its elevated positioning on and surrounding two hill communities, 45m and 50m high respectively, and there will be world-class sports facilities. The masterplan will add 53.5km of coastline to the city’s landscape, including 16km of beaches, consolidating Abu Dhabi’s position as a world-class lifestyle destination connecting tourism, leisure, sport, and urban access.

The integrated project will also include Velodrome Abu Dhabi, Surf Abu Dhabi, a wide range of sport, commerce, and leisure amenities, the largest urban park in the Emirate, and a 220-km-long network of cycle tracks.
