Image: Supplied Following the announcement of their strategic collaboration with Marriott International in November 2023, WOW Resorts, a resort and residential developer, unveiled the JW Marriott Residences & JW Marriott Al Marjan Island Resort, in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) on January 24. We spoke to Anwar Aman (below, left) and Bhupender ‘Bruce’ Patel (below, right), co-founders and co-CEOs of WOW Resorts, about the project and what we can expect from the developer in the year. Give us an overview of WOW Resorts’ development in RAK and what sets it apart from other luxury resorts in the region. The JW Marriott Residences & JW Marriott Al Marjan Island Resort will be developed on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK). The fast-growing island destination will be home to the first residential property by Marriott International in the GCC. The project is designed by Beverly Hills-based architect Tony Ashai with Dubai-based lead consultants architecture design unit, ADU.
