Youth Knowledge Forum discusses youth knowledge empowerment

Dubai, UAE – The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), held a number of discussions and learning sessions during the Youth Knowledge Forum. These sessions concentrated on youth knowledge empowerment and increasing their role in leading the courses of knowledge development. The Youth Knowledge Forum was launched on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, in the presence of and under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and Member of the Dubai Council, under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award.

A special session for the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award 2022 awardees opened the session series. H.E. Salem Al Qubaisi, Director-General of the UAE Space Agency, and Dr. Zhang Yongzhen, who helped identify the genetic makeup of COVID-SARS-19, were both present at the session. Misha Gawish, News Presenter at Sky News Arabia, moderated the discussion.

Salem Al Qubaisi underlined the need to implement comprehensive visions and plans in order to bring ambitious goals into reality. He added that the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre's founding 20 years prior sparked the idea for the Hope Probe
