Carrefour Hypermarket set to open in Marassi Galleria

Eagle Hills Diyar, the pioneer behind the iconic Marassi Al Bahrain development, announced that it has signed an agreement with Majid Al Futtaim – the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia – to open a Carrefour hypermarket at the upcoming beachfront world-class mall, Marassi Galleria. The hypermarket is set to be the first of its kind concept to be launched in Bahrain. The signing took place at the Marassi Al Bahrain sales centre on 15 December 2020 between Managing Director of Eagle Hills Diyar, Dr. Maher Al Shaer and Jerome Akel, Country Manager of Carrefour Bahrain at Majid Al Futtaim Retail. Set to open in 2021, Carrefour's newest store in Bahrain will be a 3,000 square meter hypermarket designed to provide an exceptional customer experience and journey to those visiting it at Marassi Galleria Mall. The highly anticipated Marassi Galleria, expected to be complete by 2021, is set to provide a new benchmark for retail experiences in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
