Snow Oman now officially open at Mall of Oman

Muscat – Majid al Futtaim Entertainment opened Snow Oman officially on Monday.

The opening ceremony featured an array of entertaining activities, including an ice skating performance. It was attended by top officials of Majid al Futtaim Entertainment, including Ignace Lahoud, CEO, Mark D Haak Wegmann, Managing Director of Leisure & Entertainment, and Mohammad el Etri, Vice-President of Global Snow.

Located in Mall of Oman, spread over 14,830sqm, Snow Oman is the largest indoor snow park in the MENA region and the first and only indoor snow destination in the sultanate. It features more than 20 family-friendly rides and attractions, including a 430m ice rink as well as a colony of king and gentoo penguins.

‘Desert Blizzard’ features Oman’s cityscapes and sand dunes albeit covered in real snow, whilst still reflecting the local culture and heritage.
