QC Chairman participates in B20 Indonesia Summit – The Peninsula

Doha: Chairman of Qatar Chamber (QC), Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Qatar, participated in the B20 Indonesia Summit 2022 and the 178th ICC Executive Board Meeting in his capacity as a member of the ICC Executive Board.

The B20 Indonesia Summit, which took place on the 13th and 14th of November 2022, brought together more than 1,000 Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) from around the world, influential business and state leaders, and other stakeholders from the international business community from across various industries. Held as a sideline event on the 15th of November in Bali, Indonesia, the ICC Executive Board Meeting was convened to gather the governing body that is responsible for developing and enacting ICC’s strategy, policy and programme of action, as well as overseeing the financial affairs of the world business organization.

The B20 is the official G20 engagement group and the official G20 dialogue forum for the global business community, with a mandate to deliver actionable policy recommendations on the priorities established by the presidency that is aimed to spur economic growth and development, meanwhile, addressing and honing on different key global issues, such as digitalization, climate action and gender-related issues.
