Rajendran has been with the company since 2014, and as its GM since 2019. Tamimi Markets is Saudi Arabia's fastest-growing retail food chain as recently announced by Global Brands Magazine in 2022 with 103 stores across the kingdoms of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Over the past four years, “Tamimi Markets” has expanded into new markets, grown its store base of both Tamimi Markets and Tamimi Express locations, added to its international supply chain network and built a rapidly growing customer base. It successfully navigated the COVID pandemic under Rajendran’s leadership, often setting the pace with quality, cleanliness and high international standards.
