First look: Joey Ghazal’s new Dubai restaurant Canary Club in JLT – The National

During a recent interview at his The Maine Land Brasserie in Business Bay, I showed restauranteur Joey Ghazal the newly unveiled list of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants group’s first Mena listing.

Of the 50 best restaurants from across the region named in the revered ranking, 19 are from the UAE. But none of Ghazal’s three popular restaurants in Dubai are on the list.

If he was disappointed, Ghazal did not show it.
