Dubai eases movement restrictions, allows malls and offices to partially reopen

Dubai has announced that movement restrictions will be eased in the emirate, with malls and offices allowed to partially reopen provided they adhere to certain precautionary measures.. Individuals will be able to leave their homes between 6am and 10pm without a permit, but they will have to follow precautionary measures which include social distancing and wearing a face mask.. Public transport (bus and metro), restaurants and cafes (except for buffet and shisha), retail outlets (malls, high-street outlets and souqs), wholesale outlets and maintenance shops will be allowed to operate under certain conditions.. “¢ Shopping malls, markets and commercial outlets will be open daily to the public from 12pm to 10pm. Restaurants and shops are allowed to operate at a maximum of 30 per cent capacity at the shopping malls.. “¢ Malls and retail outlets are not allowed to hold entertainment events to avoid congestion and crowding..
