The capacity in shopping centres and resturants has been increased to 60 per cent, according to a circular issued by UAE's National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) and Ministry of Health and Prevention on Thursday.

NCEMA and MoHAP have taken the decision to increase the percentage capacity of the general public at commercial centres and restaurants to 60 per cent, with coronavirus precautionary measures.

The number of patrons sharing a table should not exceed four people and should also take into account social distancing guidelines of 2 meters.

Continued closure of waiting spaces, use of single-use food utensils for public use such as plates and cutlery, wearing masks and gloves should continue to be implemented. Mask and gloves should be replaced frequently and ensure regular santisation of of space as per guidelines.

Staff's temperature should be regularly checked to ensure they are not infected or developing Covid-19 symptoms. Social distancing between customers and employees should be maintained.
