Retail Abu Dhabi boosts consumer sector with summer campaign – Saudi Gazette

ABU DHABI “” The Department of Culture and Tourism “” Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has announced plans to boost the emirate's consumer sector and support the reopening of malls through a destination-wide seasonal shopping promotion running from July 2 to Aug. 31,

The 'Unbox Amazing' campaign represents a strategic cross-government and public-private sector collaboration between Retail Abu Dhabi, DCT Abu Dhabi's retail sector platform; the Department of Economic Development - Abu Dhabi (DED); Visa, the world's leader in digital payments; the emirate's leading malls and retailers; and four leading banks, including Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Al Hilal Bank and First Abu Dhabi Bank.

With the landmark, industry-wide partnerships uniting malls and more than 3,500 retailers across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra, Retail Abu Dhabi's 'Unbox Amazing' campaign aims to promote the emirate's commitment to a safe and diverse retail environment for the country's consumers, and support retailers in liquidating excess stock built up during recent social movement restrictions.
