The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), spearheaded by the Sharjah Exports Development Centre (SEDC), recently concluded a fruitful trade mission to India. The five-day visit, aimed at bolstering economic ties between the two regions, saw delegates from Sharjah engage in productive discussions with their Indian counterparts in New Delhi and Mumbai.

The mission, which wrapped up in mid-May 2024, facilitated a significant number of business interactions. Over 365 bilateral meetings were arranged, bringing together representatives from Sharjah’s participating companies and more than 220 Indian businesses across diverse sectors. These meetings aimed to explore potential avenues for collaboration and investment, with a focus on propelling trade volumes between the two economic powerhouses.
