Which brands made it to the top for ad awareness?



YouGov has revealed UAE’s April advertiser of the month for Ad Awareness scores.

YouGov BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day and a brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?”

Tropicana had the biggest increase in how much people noticed its ads in the UAE, according to the YouGov BrandIndex. Next came Mastercard in second place and Lulu Hypermarket in third place. These were the top three advertisers for the month in the UAE.

Ad Awareness shows how many people remember seeing an ad for a brand in the last two weeks. The difference between the highest and lowest scores for the month decides which brands are the advertisers of the month.

Tropicana’s Ad Awareness went up by 8.9 percentage points from 6.2 per cent on March 26 to 15.1 per cent on April 23.

Since April is the beginning of summer, the rising demand for refreshing beverages likely helped Tropicana’s ads get noticed more.
