Bahrain’s Ambassador to the UK Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa led a delegation of GCC ambassadors to a meeting with British International Trade Secretary Anne-Marie Trevelyan on free trade negotiations, in the presence of the UK chief negotiator Tom Wintel and several senior officials. They discussed the latest developments and ongoing negotiations on the free trade agreement between the GCC countries and the UK, and expected economic gains for both sides, in terms of activating trade and investments, supporting small and medium enterprises, joint co-operation and exchanging experiences in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, education, financial services, renewable energy, etc .
