A popular sitting MP apologised for any shortcomings in the past term as has announced he won’t contest in this year’s national elections. Ammar Qambar, who is the sitting MP for Muharraq’s Constituency Seven (Arad), yesterday stated that although there is a prevailing negative atmosphere surrounding the past legislative term it also had a prominent role in stabilising decisions during the Covid-19 pandemic .
