Bahrain News: Spotlight on traditional crafts – Gulf Digital News

Families and friends will be able to enjoy a series of workshops, activities and performances highlighting the kingdom’s heritage and traditional crafts in Manama Suq at the end of this month in a bid to promote tourism. The 10-day ‘Road to Manama’ event is being organised by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) from September 22 to October 1 to showcase one of Bahrain’s most significant tourist destinations and oldest commercial markets that emphasises the role of historical and cultural heritage in attracting tourists .
