Bahrain News: Video ‘violated campaign rules’ – Gulf Digital News

A RIGHTS group that is monitoring next month’s parliamentary and municipal council elections has called for tough action against a private school in Isa Town whose board members were openly calling to back an election candidate contesting from the Southern Governorate. Commenting on a video that went viral, the Bahrain Human Rights Watch Society (BHRWS) yesterday said it was a violation of election rules which stated that campaign can start only after the nomination period ended .
