Batelco partners with BMW on eSIM technology
ALBAWABA - Bahrain's leading telecom company Batelco has partnered with automaker BMW to enable eSIM technology in the group's latest models available in Bahrain.
This makes Batelco the first in Bahrain and the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council area, as well as among the first nine operators worldwide, to enable eSIM technology in BMW vehicles.
The eSIM technology allows users to seamlessly integrate their vehicles with the mobile network, providing connectivity at all times, even if the mobile phone is left at home.
