Football: Al Hedaya seal easy win – Gulf Digital News

Al Hedaya Al Khalifia Secondary School and Khalifa bin Salman Institute of Technology secured easy wins against Bahrain School and Naseem International School respectively in Group 3 of the Nasser Bin Hamad Football Tournament for Secondary Schools.

Khalifa bin Salman Institute of Technology team were made to suffer in the first half in their game against Naseem International School which took place at A’ali Club’s football field, but still took the lead in the 17th minute thanks to Mohammed Hussain Taradah. Naseem International School team’s players left spaces in the back in the second half as they intensified their attacks in order to level the score.

However, it was Khalifa bin Salman Institute of Technology who found the net again as Fahad Abdulkareem slotted home from close range. Taradah erased Naseem International School’s hopes to get a positive result in the game after rounding off a well-organised teamwork to make it 3-0.

Naseem International School’s bad luck in the game hit rock bottom when they saw two efforts hitting the goalposts within minutes, as substitute Saleh Ahmed scored the fourth goal for the winners. The match ended 4-0, and Fahad Abdulkareem received the player of the match award.
