Letters: Grave doubts over clubs offering summer classes – Gulf Digital News

ARE associations and social clubs allowed to engage in commercial activities? It would be interesting to learn from Bahraini authorities: Can registered or unregistered associations/social clubs engage in commercial activities and charge money for things such as renting out space to people (without CR) or businesses (which do not have any activity on their present CRs) for classes in dance, karate, language or coaching in cricket, badminton or tennis, either for members or non-members? There are numerous associations/social clubs advertising for summer camps, art and drawing classes, dance classes, music classes and karate classes, etc. And many parents and children have no clue whether the summer classes being offered are legit or not .
