GAFI wins AIM2024 investment award for Middle East, North Africa – Egypt Today

CAIRO – 9 May 2024: The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) received the AIM Investment Award for 2024 in the Middle East and North Africa region, marking its sixth consecutive win.

 

 This recognition is a testament to GAFI’s success in attracting investments throughout 2023 in the Middle East and North Africa. The award ceremony took place during the 13th Annual Investment Forum AIM2024 held in Abu Dhabi.

 

GAFI's achievements across various sectors played a role in securing this award. 

 

These achievements encompass fostering innovation, supporting scientific research, enhancing the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy, promoting corporate social responsibility, and maximizing social benefits for citizens. 

 

GAFI has also been instrumental in facilitating business operations, expanding exports, promoting sustainable development, nurturing local collaborations, and supporting local suppliers.

 

CEO of GAFI, Hossam Heiba, expressed the Authority's kneeness to actively participate in the forum's annual events.
