Sheikh Mohammed launches digital school
The UAE News web report: The Digital School, which falls under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), launched on Wednesday primarily to empower refugees and underserved students.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai tweeted on Wednesday – this school will provide smart education and aims to reach 20,000 students this year.
“Our target is to educate one million students from disadvantaged groups within five years,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.
The initial phase of the school from November 2020 to August 2021 will have 20,000 students in four countries. This batch will test the adopted digital systems, content flow and suitability for each age group, as well as student engagement and response
