F1: Ride with ‘THE BOSS’ – Gulf Digital News

Sebastien Loeb, the nine-time World Rally Champion, will treat a select group of racing enthusiasts in Bahrain to the experience of a lifetime today ... a ride in the Prodrive Hunter, driven by the champion himself!

The most successful driver in World Rally Championship (WRC) history, the 47-year-old Frenchman has won the WRC title nine times and gained more WRC rally victories, podium finishes and stage wins than any other driver.

The Prodrive Hunter, a custom-built rally car that made its debut in the 2021 Dakar Rally, was specially designed for Bahrain Raid Xtreme (BRX), a partnership between the kingdom’s sovereign wealth fund, Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company and the world-leading motorsport business, Prodrive – who built the car.

Guests at the invites-only event, which will be held in a specially-designated area near Bahrain’s historic natural landmark, the Tree of Life, will be treated to a series of adrenaline-pumping rides, steered by Loeb in the four-wheel drive car, which is powered by a 3.5 litre, turbo-charged petrol V6 engine.

Loeb drove the Hunter to a second-place finish behind Qatar’s Nasser Al Attiyah at last month’s 2022 Dakar Rally held in Saudi Arabia.
