Flat6Labs launches ‘StartMashreq’ initiative to support entrepreneurs across the Levant region

Seed investor and accelerator Flat6labs, in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the government of the Netherlands, has launched the StartMashreq entrepreneurship programme to support 20 startups based in Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq, with a special focus on women, minorities and internally displaced persons.

The two-year programme will feature three main tracks: StartMashreq Academy, the Growth Support Programme and the Incubation Programme, and is open to entrepreneurs aged 18 and 45.

StartMashreq is designed to support entrepreneurs working in the fields of education, fintech, financial inclusion, healthcare technology, agriculture, environment, and information and communication technology by giving them access to resources, mentorship and networking opportunities.

The support from the IFC and the government of the Netherlands for StartMashreq falls under the PROSPECTS Partnership.
