Muscat – The Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED) has announced a new programme as part of its efforts to support SMEs and jobseekers.

In a statement, ASMED said that the ‘Startup Investment Readiness Programme’ will run from October 11 to December 12.

‘The programme will address topics such startups’ need for funding, developing an investment document, introducing SME business owners to investors and presenting their projects to them. It will be attended by a group of experts who will provide consultation to the startups.’

ASMED will also hold a workshop in cooperation with Muscat Municipality on October 11 to discuss challenges faced by SMEs and ways to overcome these. The authority called on those interested to register via https://bit.ly/ 3QSf0NK

The last date for registration is September 28.

In recent years, the number of SMEs in the sultanate has increased manifolds giving a fillip to the country’s economy.
