Conference on advanced technology highlights AI, cybersecurity

Muscat: The National University of Science and Technology, Oman, hosted the First International Conference on Advanced Technology (ICAT 2024) on Tuesday. It will continue on Wednesday.The two-day event will focus on exploring the applications of AI and cyber solutions for achieving sustainability in engineering and healthcare. The inaugural function, held at the Hormuz Grand Hotel in Muscat, was graced by the presence of Dr Ali bin Amer al Shidhani, Under-Secretary for Communication and Information Technology at the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technology.The ICAT 2024 reflects the National University's commitment to fostering global innovation and technological advancements in engineering and health sciences.
