Exhibition supports SME growth, regional collaboration

The three-day Gulf Tkatuf Exhibition was held in an effort to invigorate domestic trade and bolster small and medium enterprises (SMEs)Muscat – Links Company organised Gulf Tkatuf Exhibition from Thursday to Saturday in an effort to invigorate domestic trade and bolster small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The exhibition was inaugurated by H E Ibtisam Ahmad Said al Farouji, Undersecretary for Investment Promotion in the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion. The ceremony saw participation of senior officials, including Halima al Zari, Chairperson of Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, Faisal al Rawas, Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and H E Dr Juma bin Ahmed al Kaabi, Ambassador of Bahrain to Oman, alongside representatives of Gulf states.

Managed by H H Sayyida Hujaija bint Jaifer al Said, the three-day event aimed at enriching the community, particularly targeting the SME sector by offering a platform to showcase products, foster networking opportunities, and facilitate the exchange of experiences.

“The event is designed to enhance awareness among local businesses and create opportunities for project owners, enabling them to benchmark prices and exchange expertise. This initiative not only promotes product visibility but also aims to bolster brand identities,” H H Sayyida Hujaija said.
