Muscat: HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham al Said, Honourary President of the Promising Omani Start-ups Programme (POSP), on Tuesday visited the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) in the presence of Halima bint Rashid al Zaria, Chairperson of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority.

HH Sayyid Bilarab toured the Authority’s new building in the Ministries district in the Al Khuwair area. He visited the customer services centre and the Riyada Business Incubator which houses small and medium enterprises and technology-based emerging companies in various promising sectors such as renewable energy, communication technologies, artificial intelligence, consultancies and talent management. The Riyada Business Incubator offers an appropriate environment for projects during their first years to augment their chances of success and build a new class of startup companies with high technical and administrative capabilities. — ONA
